Back at St Giles House Hotel, I photographed a fashion shoot to accompany an article for a magazine. The writer wanted the photos in colour – so the published ones will be in colour. However, I’ve been very inspired lately by a lot of b&w work, in particular the fashion photography of Paolo Roversi as seen in a recent edition of Toast online. And having mentioned Toast, I am also extremely struck by the film and photography work of Nick Seaton. So having been inspired by possibly the most beautiful images I have seen to date this year, I decided to rework my fashion shots to a black and white palette. And I love them. I’ve left one in colour to show you the rich warm colours of St Giles House Hotel’s decor, but other than that, enjoy the black and white – the grain, the blur, the light and the dark.
